Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 is already set to be a success, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release. Gunn reported that the COVID-19 pandemic will not delay production, so hopefully, the wait is not too much longer.  Fans are excited and there has been a lot of speculation.  If you’ve seen the first two installments, you probably have a fair idea of who might be asked to join the third. Gunn has been on the record saying that there will be a character death in this movie, though which character and how they are killed is top secret information.

Peacemaker

Though much is clearly a mystery about the HBO Max series, we do know that John Cena has been cast to play the main character. Cena plays Peacemaker in the Suicide Squad movies and is thrilled to be working with James Gunn to expand the narrative and explore the story more. Because fans are already familiar with Cena’s work as Peacemaker, his presence in the show should create seamless continuity between the two platforms. James Gunn will write all eight episodes of the show.

The Suicide Squad

Though the follow up to the blockbuster, Suicide Squad, isn’t set to release until 2021, fans are already eagerly anticipating the movie’s release. It is rumored to be very funny. The second film in the franchise is about as star-studded as it gets, including Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Idris Elba, Pete Davidson, John Cena, and, perhaps most surprisingly, Sylvester Stallone. Coming August 2021.

The Guardians of the Galaxy is a worldwide phenomenon and a household name. Written and directed by James Gunn, the series is based on the Marvel comic books by the same title. With a stellar cast, including Christ Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper, this film was a highly anticipated sequel to the first movie, and it sets the stage for a widely impactful third installment to be released in the near future.

After his former addict wife (Liv Tyler) relapses and leaves him for a drug dealer, a luckless fry cook named Frank Darrbo is spiraling in rage and a deep depression (Rainn Wilson) when he receives a divine vision of purpose. Not letting a lack of superpowers stop him, Frank sews a costume, arms himself with a pipe wrench, and becomes the Crimson Bolt. He might be able to beat up scumbags and evade the cops, but can he win back the love of his life?

Slither

A comedy horror written and directed by James Gunn, the 2006 horror comedy Slither follows a small-town sheriff forced to protect his community from the invasion of parasitic aliens. After a meteorite crashes into the woods outside of Wheelsy, South Carolina, Sheriff Bill Pardy (Nathan Fillion) investigates strange cases of mutilated livestock and a missing woman before discovering the grotesque transformation of a local businessman. As more residents of his town become infected and mutate into monsters, will this sheriff stop the alien army and save his high school sweetheart before it’s too late?
